Huawei and Google new born, Nexus 6P is finally up for Pre-Order.

Huawei and Google partnered to produce a new Nexus which gave birth to Nexus 6P.

The Huawei Nexus 6P is elegantly design for solid built quality as it makes used of anodized aluminium for its full metal body that is also curved so it rest well on our hand. Accented with diamond chamfers that runs on the around at sides as well as circles the fingerprint sensor on the back. Comes in color choices of Graphite, Aluminum, Frost, and Gold.

Upfront is its 5.7 inch WQHD (2560 x 1440) that gives the smartphone a whopping 518 ppi at 16:9 aspect ration brings great detail. Cherry Mobile Cubix Cube 2 Specs Price Philippines

With Lazada Online Revolution Campaign, products gets introduced and Cherry Mobile is set to release the new Cubix Cube 2.

The Cubix Cube 2 is a Android KitKat Phablet with Aluminum chassis that encases its large 5.7 inch OGS Full HD IPS Gorilla Glass Display. It is powered by 1.7GHz Octa-Core Processor coupled with 2GB RAM and 16GB Internal Non-Expandable Storage. For its optics, it packs a 13MP Panasonic with f2.2 aperture Primary Rear Camera and 8MP front-facing camera with Sony Sensor with f2.8 aperture. It is a Dual SIM handset and have regular set of connectivity with WiFi, Bluetooth, GPS and NFC. As for its cellular data connection it is handled by HSPA+ / 3G. Cubix Cube 2 carries a whopping 3500mAh non removable Battery which should last a day or more of moderate usage.

Priced for 4,999 and comes in colors of Black or White.

Built is superb with aluminum frame yet it is a very slim device for its size. On right side lies the sim slots, volume rocker, power lock button. AT the back is its camera and dual speakers. On left side is the 3.5mm audio jack that is covered by a sim ejector.

Transitions and navigating the device is smooth. Antutu reached 30K levels as shown below. It runs only Android KitKat and not Lollipop as we have reported when we leaked it as there was communication error between Cherry Mobile and Lazada. No microSD slot here so it means not expandable storage.

Notice there was a tap to wake function on the device and gesture controls which should be useful for waking up the phone without wearing out the hardware power key as well as launch apps at an instance.

Camera wise, Cubix Cube 2 focuses fast on both front and back. See Samples below.

For its price 4,999 Pesos it is most cheapest Phablet with solid build quality and Full HD display that gives you a great entertainment device. This is also the first time I encountered Panasonic sensor on a smartphone and it does a produce good outputs photos and videos. It will be able to handle your social medias as well as COC cravings. This is worth considering for its built, size and display.

LG G4 Stylus takes cues from G4 design curved body with rear keys in metallic brushed back for comfortable grip and easy . On the front its 5.7 inch HD In-cell IPS Display for which the touch panel is embedded into the LCD making it more responsive and compatible with LG G4 rubberdium Stylus Pen offering an easy and precise way to write, draw and edit pictures. LG unique Knock Code trademark grace the G4 Stylus and also comes with a new feature called the Glance View.

The Smartphone runs on the latest Android Lollipop. Under the hood the device will be powered by either Quad-Core Processor or Octa-Core Processor (depends on the LTE or 3G Model) supported by 1GB RAM and 8GB Internal Storage. Storage can be expanded via MicroSD card slot.

Connectivity features WiFi, Bluetooth, GPS and NFC. There will be two Models LTE Variant and 3G Dual sim variant.

For its camera, LG G4 Stylus offers 13MP rear with LED Flash and 5MP front combo. It also inherited Laser Auto-Focus technology. However it must be noted that there is a G4 stylus model with 8MP rear camera.

Battery is at 3000mAh removable that should be able to last a day or two with only HD resolution and not-so power hungry hardware.

It is said that 1.2Ghz Quad-Core will be LTE Model (H630D). The 1.4GHz Octa-Core will be the 3G Dual-Sim Model (H540). It must be noted that there is yet another model H635 with LTE but comes only with 8MP Rear Camera.

Samsung Unpacked 2015 Philippines: Galaxy Note5 and Galaxy S6 edge Plus

Samsung Philippines held a localized Unpacked event yesterday announcing #TheNextGalaxy, the Samsung Galaxy Note5 and Galaxy S6 edge +.

The new Galaxy Note 5 features a full metal body with curved glass back and comes with one-touch easy access SPen. As for the Galaxy S6 edge +, it comes with a unique dual-edge curved display also in full metal body. The two offers immersive visuals with great contrast and colors at 5.7 QuadHD Super AMOLED Display toughen with Gorilla Glass 4.

In terms of hardware, they share the same internal specifications with Samsung Exynos 7420 64bit Octa-Core Processor and Mali T-760 GPU complimented with 4GB LPDDR4 RAM. The Samsung Galaxy Note5 will only come in 32GB Internal Storage while for the Galaxy S6 edge + will have 32GB and 64GB models. microSD slot is not available.

For their optics, they come with 16MP and 5MP rear/front camera combo with aperture size of f1.9 that should improve your captures and video even in low light conditions. With Optical Image Stabilization, it lessens that chances of taking blurred photos or videos.

They also share the same connectivity arrangements with WiFi ac MIMO, Bluetooth 4.2, ANT+, GPS and NFC. Both phones supports LTE for internet on the go. Samsung said they will be releasing Dual Sim variant that support Dual LTE.

As for battery life, both phones will pack a 3000mAh non-removable battery that supports Qi Wireless charging and quick charge.

Main difference on both phones lies in SPen and Dual Edge Display. With Samsung Galaxy Note5 featuring the click-to-pull-out SPen for quick note taking and scribbling. The New Air Command menu from which the most essential features of the phone plus up to three additional apps can be accessed when you pop up the pen. New Smart Select feature to easily clip content you want to edit, save, and share. Screen Write function allows users to scroll capture entire pages of content. Galaxy Note5’s Unique Screen Off Memo allows you to just pull out the pen and make a quick memo on a black screen.

LG Mobile Philippines introduces their new addition to the G3 line - G3 Stylus and G3 Beat.

However, with Stylus with Mediatek Processor could have a more desirable price cut even if it comes with a stylus.

If you wanted the G3 but still want to save then G3 Stylus and G3 Beat are clear option for you. The G3 Stylus is great when enjoy memo taking with your own hand style while Beat offers a compact all-around smartphone. The two shall standout with their distinct arced curvatures and offers top of the line functionality. LG still manages to be competitive with Stylus and Beat.
