How to Update Samsung Galaxy Ace 3 With Android 4.4 :

Step 1 :- Your phone must have custom recovery installed and 50% + battery. Note: If you don't have custom recovery installed then download it from here and you can install custom recovery by going into download mode (Volume down + Power + Home) and flashing the file downloaded.

 Step 2 :- Then download Android Kitkat file from here. And then put this file in you mobile's phone storage.

Step 3 :- Then go into recovery mode by pressing Volume Up + Home + Power button. 

Step 4 :- Choose backup option to backup all your apps and contacts in SD card.

Step 5 :- Now clear all the data, cache and dalvik cache.

Step 6 :- Then select install zip from SD card and then choose file which you put in Step 2.

Step 7 :- Wait for all the process to finish and then reboot system.

Step 8 :- You now have Android Kitkat in your phone.

How to Install :

Step 1 : Download ROM from the link below. Now place it in your phone.

Step 2 : For flashing a ROM, your mobile must be rooted and recovery must be installed.

Step 3 : Now go to recovery by switching off your phone and then pressing Volume Up + Power Button + Home Button together until something comes up on screen.

Step 4 : We recommend you to take backup of your data before flashing the ROM. 

Step 5 : Now install this zip from the recovery.

CWM Recovery - For people using cwm recovery, go to install zip from SD Card/phone storage and then select that zip file you downloaded before. 

TWRP Recovery - For twrp users, click on install and select the zip you downloaded, and then swipe to confirm flash.

Step 6 : Now reboot your device by clicking Reboot System Now.

Step 7 : You are done. You have successfully flashed the ROM. If you want to restore your previous data from the backup, then go back to recovery mode and click Restore -> Restore Data.

Samsung Galaxy Grand Quattro / Win i8552 is being used by so many people all around the world. And this device have very less ROMs. Also Samsung have refused to give any further updates to this phone. 

But here's a good news for Samsung Galaxy users. MIUI 5 for Samsung Galaxy Grand Quattro has been ported successfully by a Chinese guy. This ROM runs smoothly and looks cool. But this ROM still got some bugs. It has problems with internal storage, SD card, camera and WiFi. But it has many features and themes that are worth a try.

To install this ROM, follow the steps :-

NOTE - Your device must be rooted and have CWM / TWRP installed. Also, we are not responsible for any damage caused to you device while flashing this ROM.

Step 1 - Download Rom from the link below.

Step 2 - Connect your phone to pc via USB cable and and transfer the downloaded ROM to your phone's internal storage or SD card.

Step 3 - Detach your phone from the pc and turn off your phone.

Step 4 - Go to recovery mode by pressing Volume Up + Power button + Home button together until something comes up on screen.

Today June 23, 2016, Samsung Philippines launch "Designed For The Philippines" Galaxy J5 2016 and Galaxy J7 2016! Not long ago, we spotted its availability via Samsung concept Stores but Now they come with Filipino Inspired Themes and Packaging complimenting their new classy metal frame.

During the launch, Samsung highlighted two unique features of Galaxy J5 2016 an J7 2016 such as Ultra Data Saving Mode and Signal Max. Ultra Data Saving compresses your data usage and so same speed yet less data usage thereby less cost. With Signal Max, you won't have a problem weak reception as the new J series 2016 features Dual Antenna.

The ever popular J Series gets better and is now fitted for Filipino Consumers. Guess Galaxy J5 2016 and J7 2016 will still continue to be best seller in the market.

The new Samsung Galaxy J5 2016 and J7 2016 now comes in a metallic frame which makes it more sturdy than that of the previous model. It still retains plastic back cover but is covered in brushed finishing. Chamfers around the bezel and on the side adds aesthetic appeal as well as provide grip.

On top, are sAMOLED displays with High Definition (HD) resolutions at 5.2 inch for Galaxy J5 2016 while 5.5 inch for Galaxy J7 2016. Internally both are different as J5 2016 is powered by Snapdragon 410 A53 Cortex Processor and J7 2016 has an Exynos 7870 Chipset. Yet they share similar memory at 2GB RAM and 16GB for Internal Storage. An expansion port is available that supports up to 128GB via MicroSD. Here are Antutu Scores of J7 2016 and J5 2016. They garnered respectable scores and fared better than some of their competition.

The Duo kept 13MP Rear Camera with LED Flash and 5MP Front with Selfie Flash. Still at f/1.9 aperture which gives you more light and so great output in low light condition. With this aperture size, you do get those shallow depth of field where subject is in total focus while other space is blurred out.

As for battery, both jumps higher capacity battery with J5 2016 at 3100mAh and J7 2016 at 3300mAh.

Runs on Android Marshmallow with a Filipino Inspired Theme on Top. It includes Microsoft Office Suite which is quite useful and less bloatwares. Special Features include Bike Mode, Ultra Data Savings Mode and Signal Max. Well it is more advance in the software department compared to Android Lollipop on the Galaxy A Series.

Samsung Galaxy Tab A 2016 gets spotted! but something is missing.

Samsung Galaxy Tab A 2016 comes in similar design but now it features a 7 inch display so making it more rectangular shape than of the old 8 inch model. A reduce in display size is compensated with a increase in resolution at 800 x 1280 making it 16:9 aspect ratio with 216ppi much better than before. This bodes well for 0000 pdfs but still works for movies but preferably on landscape. It is slim at 8.7mm and light at 283g which makes it great for carrying around your bag.

We got to look closer, display is bright and clear and it has a dotted patterned back. Sim slot and microSD Card slot is located left side while on the right is the power lock button and volume rocker. On Top is the 3.5mm jack and MicroUSB port. At the back is the primary camera and speaker.

Under the hood, the new Galaxy Tab A 2016 edition packs 1.5GHz Quad-Core Processor coupled with 1.5GB RAM and 8GB Internal Storage. A MicroSD slot is available and supports up to 200GB if you need more storage.

As for optics, just the same setup of 5MP Rear and 2MP Front camera combo which should be enough for your social media captures and sharing. Speaking of sharing, the Galaxy Tab here A 2016 carries the regular set of connectivity - WiFi, Bluetooth, GPS. There is a sim card tray available so you have phone and messaging features as well as data connectivity on the Go handled by LTE / 3G.

Just basics here as they only carry basics with aperture size of f/2.2. Yet i was surprise with the Selfie as it was decent still compared to local brands with 2MP front cameras.

Runs on Android 5.1 but less of bloats. Oddly enough it lacks Microsoft suites which we can find via other Samsung models. Does have visual controls like control font and also features gestures and motion control. We have not encountered lags while navigating through the device.

Battery is reduced at 4000mAh but with more updated chipset and redduce screen size it should do better job staying alive or always on.

The major drawback however is that it looks like for Galaxy Tab A 2016, Samsung has do away the SPen. I am sure artist, writers, creatives and scribblers would miss this feature.

To conclude, Samsung Galaxy Tab A 2016 is a reliable tablet with decent performance with Phone capabilities and LTE. Although we miss the SPen as it was the signature of the A series.

Spotted via Abenson website for 9,990 Pesos! Guess with trimmings of some features it cost less.

It is also now available with selected Samsung Concept stores. No demo unit yet but they have it.
