Micromax has just launched Moto E 2nd Gen with good features at Rs. 6999 and now Xiaomi Has placed the competition for it in the market with better features at same price, and the phone is Xiaomi Redmi 2. It is the result of its previous successful phone Xiaomi Redmi 1s.

Xiaomi Redmi 2 is provided with 4.7 inch 720p HD IPS fully laminated display(Sharp/AUO; 70% NTSC Color Gamut, 1000:1 contrast ratio, 312ppi) with DragonTrail glass protection. It runs on 1.2 GHz 64bit Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 CPU processor with Cortex A53 Adreno 306 GPU.
It has 1 GB RAM and 8 GB Internal memory (expandable upto 32 GB). Device runs on Android 4.4.4 Kitkat Operating System out of the box. It has 8 MP BSI f/2.2 of rear camera and 2 MP front camera. It supports 720p of HD video recording.
