After Google launched Android Lollipop, company brought CyanogenMod 12 for the device. CM12 is based on Android Lollipop. Lollipop is faster, smoother and looks better than Kitkat.
How to Update to CM 12 :-

How to Update to CM 12 :-
Note : Your phone must be not rooted and bootloader should be locked. Also It should be on stock ROM. Only then you will get Official Update. Or else you can go to this link and download it on your own. Link : Click Here.
If you get Official Update :
- Go to Settings -> About Phone -> Software Update. From here, download the Update and follow the on-screen steps to update to cm12.
If you Download from the link above :
- Download and put the file in your internal storage.
- Switch off your phone.
- Go to fastboot mode by pressing Volume up + Volume Down + Power button together.
- Go to wipe data/cache and press power button.
- Now go to install update and select the file you downloaded before and press power button.
- You are done.
